Bearcroft Pool

***** NO DAY TICKETS ON THIS POOL ******

Bearcroft offers the angler a relaxing and peaceful days fishing in the country.  Surrounded by woods and a sports field in the quaint village of Hinstock, the pool has a good range of fish and with both good access and parking, make it ideal.

The club have spent a lot of time and money in developing this fishery with fish stock added on a regular basis. The fish are maturing and this is a very good venue for mixed fishing.  The summer months are favoured and match or pleasure anglers should take advantage of what this venue has to offer during this time. The pegs have been worked on and now the field side has wooden board pegs, and the village hall side has sleeper blocks to give stability.

Fishing is also good here, and offers the novice or experienced angler a varied choice of both spieces and methods, pole and waggler seem to be the favoured methods at Bearcroft and pleasure anglers often record mixed bags over 30lb, and it's been subject to a re-stocking campaign in 2020 /2021 with additional stocks in the future.
