The club is saddened to hear of the loss of two key members and friends, Alan Smallman and John Buttery.  Alan passed away late August and John sadly passed away Tuesday 11th Sep.  See the home page for further statement from the club.

 

League enters final furlong - The series concludes on Sunday 16th Sep at Long Lane with the winner already known (Dave Matson), thanks to all that attended and supported this again in 2018.

 

 

July / August -

 

The club are delighted to inform members that Bearcroft Pool will remain on the card for the forseeable future.

 

 

June

 

Long Lane Match (Sun 17th June) has been cancelled.

 

Bearcroft Pool - Please be aware the Club have rent on this venue until end of June. It's unknown after this time, so please check back here for more updates.

 

 

May

 

The annual pairs charity match is taking place this month on the Newport Canal and Honeysuckle lengths in the Town on the 26th May draw 9am, see details on home page for booking on.

 

April

 

The next match on Newport Canal (5th May) has been switched to Bearcroft Pool due to low water levels on the canal.

 

March

The annual league started this month, with round one on the Shropshire Canal. The recent cold spell with snow and ice levels meant it was hard going.

 

February 

 

The club are running opens on the Shropshire Union Canal, Saturdays between now and March, contact Harry Groom or check the Twitter feeds (or this page) to confirm if matches are going ahead.  Weather and attendence permitting!

 

 

 

January

 

The clubs first match of the year is on 20th January on the SUC canal, look out for additional dates too as it's been decided to run some Opens on the club stretches of the SUC through February.

 

December

 

The club cards are now on sale in the usual outlets.
