Serck Audco Angling club

Founded in the 1950's by Friends from Serck Audco, the club started with just one water (The Slang) near Newport and just a handful of mates.  Serck Audco Angling Club is now a well known and respected club within Shropshire / Stafforshire with  over 400 members and 2 stretches of River, 2 stretches of canal and 3 pools!

The club can boast a good range of fishing to suit all tastes, whether it's canals, pools or running water, offering a wide range of species silvers & Bream, or Carp & Tench, or Pike, Chub or Eels! Auco  can offer Anglers young or old a decent days fishing, in some of the most beautiful surroundings found in the country.

Audco run popular Club and Open matches during the summer on most of the venues, these are usually well attended and there are also some very popular special matches which attract fishermen from all over the Midlands, such as the annual Macmillian Nurses match. This popular charity event usually takes place in July and attracts teams of 3 from all over the county, raising money for a great cause as well as fun day packed with banter! The Annual Junior Advertiser competiton which has been sponsored every year by the local paper, attracts juniors  from all over the Midlands, with many prizes & trophies going to youngsters up to 16 every year.

The club are also affiliate members of the Angling Trust.
