2012 Series dates are set.
The popular Long lane series returns in 2012, with the dates now confirmed, the series kicks off a little later this year (22nd April) and runs until September (9th), similar format 7 matches with the best 5 results taken. Anyone wishing to join this, we'd recommend booking with Bob or Stuart.
AGM Proposals
Any proposals should be submitted to the club secretary (in writing) by November 22nd.

The Annual Junior event is being held on the Clubs Newport Canal on August 13th, entry is a £1 for a team of 4, for more event details please see the latest news section and match fixtures pages of the site.
Long Lane Series
Well done to new Champion of 2011 Pete Burrell who won the series with 10 points, Ron Mullinder was second with 12 Points and Phil Bowen & Roy Biddulph each had 15 (Phil taking it on Weight).

Long Lane Pool update . . .
The Club are delighted to inform ALL memebers that the Pool was re-stocked on Saturday 5th February 2011 . . . we have introduced over 500 Carp ut to 6lb!!
The Club sends are heartfelt thanks to those committee memembers who kindly donated money to the cause, thanks to those including Alan Smallman,Tony Jackson & Keith Harvey.
The stock was introduced on Saturday, and we would request memebers go along and fish when possible to introduce bait to these hungry younsters!!!
